Health and Safety

Our in-house team is highly experienced in the strict health and safety protocols we have in place.

All our employees hold 100% CSCS Certification and Working at Height training, in addition to various certifications, including: First Aid, CPCS, SMSTS, IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, NEBOSH, FASET Safety Net, RAMS, Harness Inspection Training and Scaffold Inspection to name a few.

These certifications ensure that our Lester Cladding workforce can perform their roles with the utmost safety and quality.

To further enhance our safety measures, we have a dedicated Health and Safety department, with two of our Health and Safety managers holding NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications. With the managers overseeing our safe systems of work and monitoring our on-site workforce, we are also proud to announce that we now have 4 dedicated Mental Health First Aiders in the team, available to help our colleagues with problems or concerns in and out of work.

We continuously strive to improve our safe systems, such as:

  • We have implemented InnDex, an end-to-end digital workforce management platform. InnDex helps us manage daily construction requirements. To name a few of the apps features- ability to deliver and get digital signatures for RAMS, time management, quality inspections, thorough site inductions which have to be approved by our in house health and safety team, as well as also covering many elements of health and safety practices.
  • We are committed to ensuring that our complete workforce adopts the InnDex system for optimal safety and efficiency.
  • We have made Working at Height Training a mandatory requirement for our entire site workforce, and, for any subcontractor working for Lester Cladding.
  • We aim to use, where possible, bespoke made, anchor point ratchet straps and lockdown bars, designed by Lester Cladding, for means of securing loose materials to roofs. These methods have been tried, tested and certified, as a safer way to secure such materials.
